We predominantly operate within 2 hours of our base in Manchester with very limited distance working and subsequent working away from home. About the RoleThis is a multi-skilled role and as such you will be required to undertake a wide range of manual tasks such as:
Installing Gas/Tanking membranes, waterproofing, tanking systems, and pump stations etc.Other manual tasks that fall within a competent manual workers capabilities
This role is suited to somebody who has experience in working with Waterproofing and/or Gas Membranes or closely associated rolls. We will train the suitable candidate to gain a full knowledge of processes where training is required.A reasonable understanding of building constructions matched with excellent manual abilities is essential. A logical method of thinking and an eye for detail is critical.Being a manual role and due to the nature of the work you will be undertaking this position can be physically demanding at times and so a certain level of physical fitness is required.Key Requisites of the Role:THE APPLICANT(S) MUST

The Ideal Person for the Muilti Skilled Operative
Will have experience working in the construction sector in a hands-on role e.g. site worker, Yardman, labourer.
The successful candidate should be self-motivated, responsible and have excellent inter-personal skills.
Flexibility and initiative are essential for this demanding and rewarding position.
A good level of physical fitness.
A basic understanding of batching systems would be desirable.
Good communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with customers and suppliers.
Commitment to Health, Safety and Environmental standards.
Previous experience in concrete/mortar production would be beneficial.
