The day-to-day duties for this role include:
Dealing with customer enquiries and reservations in a polite and professional manner.
Building and maintaining your own knowledge library on rates, prices and terms of business.
Effectively promoting all relevant Fred. Olsen products to customers.
Confirming bookings and upselling all relevant products.
Selling the Fred. Olsen products and brand to customers.
Training:The successful candidate will work towards the Customer Service Practitioner Level 2 qualification, which has an estimated course duration of 15 months. This will be a work-based Apprenticeship. Therefore, there will be no requirement for a day release to college. You will have an allocated Assessor from an Apprenticeship training provider who will visit you in the workplace and provide 1-2-1 training, support, and guidance throughout the course.Training Outcome:After successful completion of the apprenticeship course, there will be the possibility of progressing into a permanent position within the business. Making any initial amendments to itineraries
Assist with pre- and post-departure queries
Upsell be offering additional products and excursions to ensure a customer's unique experience
Bring ideas to the business, help find new potential customers
Work to achieve sales targets and earn commission.
Be flexible to work 5 days over a 7 day rota, primarily between 9am to 6pm
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
The ideal candidate will have previous travel industry sales experience, with knowledge of luxury travel and cruise. However, if you have worked for a high street retail travel agency and have not specialised in luxury or cruise, but are keen to do so, this is a great opportunity for you to develop in your Travel Industry career. And if you have target driven sales experience from an alternative industry, with exceptional customer service and ability to liaise with high-touch clientele, this could give you the opportunity to start a career in travel, at a point this industry is really taking off again.
THE PACKAGE:

Meeting and greeting clients in a friendly and helpful manner.Assisting qualified Hairdressers with shampooing, providing treatments, blow-drying etc.
