Hours Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm
My client, a well-established commercial dealership with depots across the South is actively seeing to employ an experienced HGV Driver / Yard Person based at a depot in the Portsmouth area.
HGV Driver / Yard Person job role:
- Arranging and controlling vehicle movements in the yard
- Presenting Vehicles for MOT
- Collection and delivery of Trailers
- Cleaning of vehicles
- General tidying of workshop
- Other ad hoc duties
Requirements for HGV Driver / Yard Person:
- Previous experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver / Yard Person is essential
- Ideally have a formal qualification to NVQ level 3 or equivalent
- Must have own tools
- Must hold a valid Class 1 licence

My client is currently recruiting for an experienced Parts Delivery Driver to work from their site in Southampton.
As one of their Parts Delivery Drivers you will be driving a transit-sized vehicle collecting and delivering parts to our dealership and trade customers in the area within specified time frames. You will also be involved in the picking of goods and delivering documentation for distribution within the business. A good knowledge of the local geographical area would be an advantage and motor trade experience would be beneficial although full training will be provided.
Parts Delivery Driver Duties:
- Receiving and receipting the collection of payments from customers where required
- Collection and delivery of parts across the local region
- Keeping your vehicle well maintained and clean, raising any concerns about the vehicle's maintenance to your manager
Parts Delivery Driver Requirements:
- An aptitude for building positive customer relationships - you will enjoy working in a team and supporting colleagues wherever possible

As a Warehouse Operative / Van Driver, you will be supporting warehouse operations and occasional driving duties as part of a hands-on logistics team. This full-time permanent role offers a salary of up to £26,000 and benefits.
You will be responsible for:
? Operating Counterbalance Forklift Trucks for loading and unloading tasks
? Using Reach Trucks within stores and despatch areas
? Accurately booking in goods using a computer system
? Picking stock items in line with detailed kitting requirements

? Driving the company van when needed (clean driving licence required)
? Assisting with regular stock checks and resolving stock discrepancies
