Degree in Mathematics, Physics, or a relevant Engineering discipline.
Extensive experience in electronics engineering.
Strong background in mathematics, physics, and electronics principles.
Proficiency in microcontroller programming (e.G. PIC).
Expertise in PCB design and ideally prototype board assembly.
Experience in software, firmware, and hardware debugging.
Proven track record in R&D and product development.
Desirable Experience:
Knowledge of ATEX product design (training provided).

The Assembler role is a Night shift working Sunday to Thursday 10pm - 6am totalling 37.5hours a week.
The role is paying £12.21 with 25% shift allowance (£15.26) increasing to £12.65 after 12 weeks on site (£15.81 with shift allowance)

As a PCB Inspector you will play a pivotal role within the business, you will be working within goods in, stage and final inspection of electrical & electronic assemblies.
This role is temporary to permanent and paying £12.21- £14.50ph (DOE)
Working hours are Monday to Thursday 7:30 -16:30 and Friday 7:30 to 12:30.
Key Responsibilities for PCB Inspector
- Inspection of Electrical & Electronic Assemblies.
- Calibrated Tool control issuing & approval.
- Assist with First Article Inspection
- Assist in the resolution of quality-related problems.
- To work with the Quality Controller to develop, improve & maintain quality standards across the areas of responsibility.
- To work with the Quality Controller

- Provide QA support as necessary.

My Client is a fully-fledged Sub Contract Electronic Manufacturer supplying products to a diverse customer base. They now require a Production Technician to work within their Production site in Bedford, Bedfordshire.
As an Production Technician you will be responsible for;
The use of AOI (Automatic Optical Inspection) equipment to inspect a variety of electronic circuit card assemblies ensuring these meet IPC-A-610 as well as any other relevant standards
Making sure they are free of defects. These products will be fresh off the in-house Surface Mount Production Line. You will be operating the equipment and following relevant instructions and procedures.
For this position as an Production Technician based in Bedfordshire you will need experience in Inspection of all forms of electronic assemblies, including:
Populated Surface Mount PCBs to component level (desired but not required)
Populated Conventional PCBs to components level. (Desired but not required)
Cable Assemblies and Harnesses
Unit Assemblies.
On occasion support the SM department with additional checks.
Pack goods for local and UK shipments.
SMT/ AOI experience is desirable but not required for this role. In house training can be provided for candidates.
For this role as an Production Technician based in Bedfordshire you will need:
To have an extremely high level of accuracy.
To be able to work efficiently within given time scales for jobs.
To be able to use fine tools and optical inspection equipment.
To be reliable, self-motivated, committed, methodical, organised, flexible.
