As a Warehouse Stock Operative, you will work as part of a dynamic and supportive team in what can be described as a fast-paced and target driven environment to ensure the stock entering or leaving the depot is accurate.
Our activities vary, so often, you may be required to work across multiple different workstreams such as Goods Inbound checks, Picker Accuracy audits and Load Adherence checks most of which require periods of manual handling.
This is a full time permanent position based at our customers distribution centre.
Rate of pay: £23,907 per annum
Weekly hours: 37.5 hours plus daily 30-min unpaid break
Shift Patterns: 5 days out of 7, 8-hour shifts between: 04:00-20:00

There are many aspects to the role, including printing, finishing, operation of machinery, administration and problem solving.
As an apprentice, you will be responsible for setting up and operating the wide format printers and heat presses. You will ensure all daily and long-term orders are completed within the required timescales, ensuring all products produced meet both quality control standards and the clients’ specifications. The role is also responsible for assisting with design and product development, using skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Microsoft Office Software.
All training for the relevant skills to succeed in the role will be provided.
Roles and responsibilities:
Operate a variety of printing equipment, including wide format printers and digital presses
Operate specialist finishing machinery and guillotines.
Monitor production schedules to ensure all printed products meet required deadlines
Maintain a steady and productive workflow throughout the print process
Produce and inspect samples to ensure quality standards are met prior to despatch
Support stock control processes and promptly flag low stock levels
Liaise directly with clients regarding design requirements and approvals
Adhere at all times to Company Standards, Environmental Policy, Code of Conduct, and Health & Safety procedures
Provide support and cover for team members during peak periods, absences, or holidays

Key Accountabilities
Maintain a high standard of lawns within the College by using appropriate machinery within safety guidelines.

Responsible for supporting the Site Manager and Assistant Site Manager in ensuring the security, maintenance, cleanliness standards and general wellbeing of the school are of a good standard
To receive a daily list of jobs via an iPad and be able to follow through, complete and record within a timely fashion, working both under your own initiative and with other members of the team
To receive, check in and distribute deliveries, ensuring that the reception area remains clear of deliveries at all times
To work, under supervision, to maintain the school grounds, which includes litter picking, weeding, sweeping pathways, gardening works using both ride-on and hand mowers, and hedge-cutting equipment
To learn how to support the maintenance of the building plant and equipment to meet statutory health & safety requirements
To undertake emergency cleaning if required during the school day and help with daily housekeeping issues as they arise
To undertake minor repairs, improvements and (re)decoration of the school site, using the tools and materials provided and focusing on maintaining an excellent standard of health & safety
To support the daily coordination of the school’s minibus fleet and support the routine maintenance and checks of the school’s vehicles
With training, to be able and willing to drive a school minibus on an ad hoc basis
To support the transportation of school lunch provision across the sites
To assist in jobs that are sometimes dirty and unpleasant, e.g. clearing drains
To support the effective running of school events and activities, including setting up rooms, car parking, marshalling and responding to parents and site visitors in a helpful manner
