Starting hourly rate £13, flexible single day shifts, optional regular overtime paid at 150% & 200% over 48 hours and 35 annual days holidays are some of the perks that the successful HGV Driver will enjoy whilst working with this batch component manufacturer. On offer to the successful HGV Driver:
Starting Salary: £13 per hour (£26,364 per annum)
Holiday Entitlement: 35 days including public holidays
Option to work regular midweek and Saturday morning overtime:
150% paid between 39-48 hours worked
200% paid after 48 hours worked

For the HGV Driver position, we are keen to receive applications from individuals who possess the following skills :
Efficiently managing material movement both internally and externally, including vehicle loading and unloading, using FLT
Safely storing and disposing of materials in accordance with COSHH regulations where applicable.
Conducting Van/Waggon Driving Activities in compliance with related regulations such as The Road Traffic Act, Highway Code, and local driving restrictions.
Performing drilling, grinding, polishing, and deburring of components.
Packing components for delivery to customers, including heat wrapping.
Removing coolant and swarf from machinery.
Working Hours of the HGV Driver: Day shifts with a 39 hour minimum weekly contract; the successful candidate will be offered flexibility around start & finish times between the below times (latest start time 8.30am):
Monday to Thursday – 06:00 to 18:00
Friday – 06:00 to 15:00
For the HGV Driver to excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and experience:
Capability to manage and prioritize your own workload effectively.
Competency in the use of cranes and slings would be an advantage
Full clean Class C1 UK/EA licence.
CPC card (and ideally) Tachograph card.
FLT Licence would be an advantage
