JOB DESCRIPTION
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform daily pre-operational inspection of production.
Evaluate & test samples taken of raw materials and finished goods for each lot number.
Perform daily swabbing of equipment and production tools.
Perform monthly environmental swabs.
Monitor GMPs daily in manufacturing plant.
Perform daily HACCP checks.
Maintain inventory of all QA retains, supplies and equipment.
Perform routine in-house calibration of lab equipment.
Evaluate and test viscosity, moisture, pH, sieve test, bulk density.
Approve receiving paperwork on all inbound shipments.
Data entry in excel for all testing results.
Inventory control on lab supplies & knives/scoops used in production.
Back up for COA creation.
Label approval checks
Log and process HOLD dispositions.
Performs weekly titrations and pass/fail on sanitation chemicals.
Other lab duties as needed
Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must possess good reading, writing and math skills.
Must always be safety conscious.
Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs.
Knowledge of Microsoft (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Knowledge of lab equipment a plus
Bilingual in Spanish recommended, not required.
Detail orientated, organized, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Work proactively with all departments.
Time management skill set preferred.
Knowledgeable of SQF and OSHA regulations
Previous work experience in Food Manufacturing Industry recommended, not required

Scope:
Pre-Weight personnel are responsible for having product formulas properly weighed for production mixing.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Examine materials, ingredients, or products visually or with hands, in order to ensure conformance to established standards • Move products, materials, or equipment between work areas. • Communicating with Supervisors or Peers • Package products for storage or shipment. • Select and measure or weigh ingredients, using English or metric measures and balance scales. • Follow formulas to produce food products to meet customers specified. • Operate or tend machines to mix or blend any of a wide variety of food products. • Read work orders to determine production specifications and information • Dump or pour specified amounts of materials into machinery and equipment. • Record operational and production data on specified forms • Maintain a clean work area • Frequently Walk; Reach with hands and arms; the employee is regularly stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; Talk, hear. • Perform all work in accordance with GMP's, housekeeping, good safety practices, and environmental regulations. • Adheres to all safety and quality procedures/regulations

JOB DESCRIPTION
ESSENTIAL TASKS
Verifies and keeps records on incoming materials compares identifying information and counts, weight, or measures items of incoming shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records. Plan work schedules of warehouse staff for all inbound. Inbounds are examine for condition of the loads, for damage items, rejected or put into the hold area, records shortages, and corresponds with QA, supervisor and purchasing to rectify damages and shortages. Manage inbound shipment scheduling to ensure timely and accurate delivery for production needs. Routes items to departments. Ensures proper LOT rotation and including FIFO (first in-first out) and organic product handling. Perform cycle counts materials and products. Direct and execute receiving and put-away processes and ensure compliance to standards practices. Serve as a resource to investigate and respond to inventory discrepancies. Work with staff on assignments in response to rapidly changing receiving schedule. Maintain a safe, clean and orderly area. Adhere to quality and safety standards. Verify all shipments are recorded and verified the accuracy of the shipment against the paperwork for inbounds. Use root cause analysis to put in place counter measures to eliminate errors and damage waste. Provide ideas/insights to refine established procedures to improve inventory accuracy and efficiency, improve quality, or reduce cost. Continually work with management on other optimization ideas. Maintain supporting cycle count records. Compiles information on receipts, usage, and distribution of materials to review transactions. Oversees the storage and warehousing of materials, actively involved in cycle counts plans, adjustments to order quantities. Plans layout and utilization of warehouse space considers inventory turnover, size weight and related factors od items stored. Advises employees on care and preservation of items received, stored. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Graduation from high school or GED equivalent computer skills and over Excel formulas 5+ years in warehousing Strong knowledge of warehouse, inventory, and shipping operations methods and practices Ability to read, write and speak English required, bilingual skills (English/Spanish) preferred. Problem solving, team building, project execution and ability to multi-task
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
