Duties:Manual inspection of highly precision machined parts and components using various equipment such as Micrometres, Verniers and Gauges.CMM Inspection, working with an Aberlink CMM (will consider other CMM experience such as PC-DMIS or Mitutoyo).Active involvement with the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) Skills & Attributes:A strong Quality Inspection background (previous experience of working in a Precision Engineering environment is essential).Experience in CMM inspection is a must (ideally with Aberlink but will consider other CMM experience such as PC-DMIS or Mitutoyo).Be fully competent in reading and interpreting technical drawings.Experience inspecting to tight tolerances.PPAP knowledge and experience is highly desirable. Training:We have partnered with Bridgwater & Taunton College to deliver this Level 4 Countryside Ranger apprenticeship via a mix of virtual and face-to-face training.
