Level 3 Engineering Technician Apprenticeship

Programming and setting mill turning machines. Ensure health & safety regulations are met in the workplace. Ensure quality control standards are met. Overseeing production processes as well as implementing them. Ensure the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment.

 



Training:

For the full apprenticeship, candidates will complete:  

Level 2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Foundation Competence) (601/7179/0) Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Competence)- Mechatronics Maintenance Technician (603/3845/3)  Level 3 Diploma or Extended Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge) (603/1353/5)  For the End Point Assessment (EPA) apprentices will undertake a viva interview, a portfolio of evidence and a professional competency assessment (usually a workplace project) For the full apprenticeship, candidates will complete:

Apprentices are expected to attend college one day per week (term-time only) at the Ipswich Road campus, located near Norwich city centre. 
Approx. 48 months.

Training Outcome:

A position may be available for the right candidate following successful completion of the apprenticeship. The business is looking for somebody who wants to develop and gain a position following their apprenticeship.

Working Hours :
Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm Friday 8am to 1pm 30 minutes for lunch.
