Apprentice Motor Vehicle Technician/Mechanic

As an Apprentice Technician/Mechanic, you'll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:

Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and efficient workshop Complete a range of services and inspect and prepare a vehicle to the required quality standard for handover to the customer Use a range of diagnostic equipment Remove and replace a range of parts and components where repair is not possible Engine reconditioning Engage customers and provide a consistently good service General housekeeping

Training:

The successful candidate will continue their studies with apprenticeship specialists; RNN Group at their dedicated motor vehicle training centre based at the Dearne Valley Campus (Rotherham). You’d attend on a day release format, giving you the training and support you need to become a well-rounded and qualified Technician/Mechanic.

The Apprentice Standard you will be studying is Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician – Level 3.

ASD MOT Ltd is an independent and well-trusted automotive business who take immense pride in providing their customers with an exceptional service. They have been serving the people of Doncater and the surrounding areas for nearly 10 years. They carry out everything an apprentice would need to cover, including Servicing, Repairs, MOT’s, Diagnostics and engine reconditioning. There is not much that the team cannot handle and they’re hoping to train someone up to be able to provide the same service.

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm.
