Business Administration Apprentice for busy Solicitors

Tasks include but are not limited to:

Assisting the conveyancing department with administrative support throughout property transactions, including preparing documentation Providing general office support to ensure efficient workflows between staff and clients Communicating professionally with clients in person, over the phone, and via email, ensuring a high standard of client care Organising, filing and archiving legal documents in line with data protection and confidentiality requirements Handling routine paperwork, including scanning, photocopying, printing and document collation Drafting and sending standard emails and correspondence under supervision Processing outgoing post accurately and promptly Assisting with the maintenance of case management systems and records Supporting other departments when required, contributing to the overall running of the office

Training:

The successful applicant will work towards an apprenticeship qualification (18 month) Level 3 Business Administration. Training will be available both on-the-job and via a one day per week release through Somerset Skills & Learning.  



Training Outcome:

Career path could lead to legal secretary or further consideration to legal paralegal/CILEx.

Working Hours :
Monday to Thursday 9.00am to 5.30pm with 1 hour for lunch. Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm with one hour for lunch. One day per week training release (day to be confirmed)
