To work flexibly as part of the team, assisting and supporting colleagues wherever required, to ensure the smooth running of the nursery.

To co-operate and work effectively with the manager, taking on additional responsibilities/duties and positively promoting developments in policies and procedures to team members.

Key persons are responsible for ensuring key children have an appropriate target set each week which will form part of the planning.

To be responsible for the welfare of all children in your designated room, organising systems to ensure consistent, high- quality care.

To work in partnership with all parents/carers, building and maintaining relationships.

Training:

Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship standard, including Functional Skills in English and maths if required. Working hours will be 4 days per week, with one day to study. Study will be done at home/remote. Training will be once per month by tutor. 

Training Outcome:

Level 3 qualified and a chance to be promoted to managerial roles.

4 days per week 8:00am till 5:00pm or 9:00am till 6:00pm.
