Apprentice Welder / Fabricator

We are a small company that offers a highly personalised learning experience, providing practical, academic, and emotional support. The apprenticeship is a joint learning relationship between the learner and JB Engineering; your success is our success.

As an apprentice at JB Engineering, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Housekeeping. Maintaining your work area.
• Shadowing your supervisor, you are supervised whilst learning.
• Learning in action, practice welding.
• Carrying out all Health and safety procedures.
The Welder fabricator is primarily responsible for manufacturing customer orders using their welding and fabrication skills.
• Record learning

Training:

This apprenticeship is delivered through a combination of Work Based Assessment and day/block release. The programme will culminate in an End Point Assessment, where all the skills and knowledge gained on the apprenticeship will be formally tested.

Training Outcome:

Possibility of a full-time post upon completing the apprenticeship.

Monday - Friday.
