Engine Build Technician Apprentice
This role involves hands-on work with diesel and gasoline engines, contributing to the design, execution, and continuous improvement of testing procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and conduct performance and quality assurance tests using newly developed methodologies. Lead test strategies for innovative and complex R&D projects with confidence and technical insight. Maintain the highest standards of safety and quality within the test department. Prepare components for assembly, including detailed inspection and measurement. Build and assemble test engines to a consistent and high-quality standard. Install, and de-rig, test engines (diesel and gasoline) as required. Diagnose and initiate repairs to test installations and equipment. Proactively suggest and implement improvements to testing procedures and setups. Ensure full compliance with company Health, Safety & Environmental (HS&E) policies and contribute to ongoing improvements. Collaborate effectively with team members.Training:
