Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship

The job will involve working in the dispensary - preparing and dispensing medicines, working in the pharmacy retail area - serving at the counter and providing general pharmaceutical healthcare advice. This role will also provide clinical services, after specific training is undertaken, such as becoming a vaccinator. 

Training:

The training course is a distance learning course with regular contact with your course tutor. There is one day of paid study leave a week which can be done at home or in the pharmacy (if required) to enable completion of the course tasks and requirements.

Training Outcome:

Successful completion of the GPhC accredited Pharmacy Technician course will lead to the ability to register as a professional Pharmacy Technician.

Working Hours :
Monday 9am – 6pm* Tuesday 9am – 6pm* Wednesday (paid study day at home) Thursday 9am – 6pm* Friday 9am – 6pm* Saturdays (alternate) 9am – 1pm Average weekly hours 42 hours per week *Unpaid lunch break of 1 hour each full day worked
