Dental Nurse Apprentice
Duties to include:
Preparing surgery/materials/instruments for each patient Following decontamination/sterilising protocols Safe disposal of clinical waste Processing/assisting with dental radiographs Updating medical histories Following all practice policies and procedures Obeying all dental ethical guidelines including all rules on confidentialityTraining:
National Diploma in Dental Nursing (Integrated Apprenticeship) (RQF)NEBDN EPA
Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing Level 1/2 Functional skills in English and maths (if required) End Point Assessment (EPA)Training Outcome:
Full Dental Nurse qualification with registration with the GDC Post qualifications are available after registration including Sedation and Oral health
