Nursery nurse apprentice
Your role will include:
Being a key worker for individual children.
Planning activities according to the EYFS Being responsible for caring for babies and children Working with the nursery manager, parents and other team membersDuties include:
Preparing snacks for the children To attend to their personal care needs throughout the day ensuring that the child is respected and safe at all times Feeding the children and attending to the sleep and rest needs throughout the day Helping with supervising children during activities and play Helping with setting up equipment and areas for activities, making sure everything is safe and suitable for the children Being responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for the children, staff and parents alongside other staff Reporting to the room leader and managers of the nurseryTraining:
Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Level 1 Functional skills ( if required) and progression to Level 2 functional skills if required College workshops are held at South Woodford
Training Outcome:
Progression to level 3.

Our new childcare provision for children aged 2-5 years in Chingford opened in September 2019. A bright and modern, newly refurbished building with outside space, located in Chingford Hall Estate, attached to the Paradox Centre. This new addition to our Outstanding rated by Ofsted settings, offers free-flow play provision with indoor and outdoor learning in the heart of the community in Chingford Hall Estate.
Working Hours :
Different shift patterns with start times of 8.00am and finishing times of 6.00pm based on an average day of 8 hours working time. You will be attending college 1 day/fortnight, which will be included as part of your working week.
