Apprentice Pharmacy Assistant

Dispensing of medication to patients Over counter sales of non-prescription medication Check and monitor prescription slips Health & Safety Responsibility Rotation of stock Use of Patient Record Systems and use of smart card Data Entry relating to medication Labelling and Dispensing Accuracy and Attention to detail Working within a team environment Liaison with Doctors surgery and health professionals Completion of apprenticeship work on time

Training Outcome:

Following the completion of this apprenticeship, there is the opportunity for a permanent position within the pharmacy and further developement through the Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship.
