Apprentice Workshop Technician

Have the ability to think outside the box, demonstrate dexterity, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn? Gain hands-on experience in assembly, machining, and maintenance while working to ISO and H&S standards.

This is an ideal opportunity for proactive individuals with GCSEs in maths, Science & English.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble products to comply to Company standards; test, check and sign off Machining of parts to customer specification Review processes and highlight and implement improvements where appropriate Kitting/Cutting/Packing Refurbishment of products Maintenance of machinery to ensure compliance and safety ISO; working to ISO standards H&S; working to health & safety standards Supporting and working towards the Company vision and values Ad hoc duties as required

Essential Experience / Competencies:

A minimum of 4 GCSE’s (or equivalent) at grade C / 4 or above, including maths, Science, and English Good attention to detail Proactive attitude Able to work on own initiative

Desirable Experience / Competencies:

Experience of working in a similar position or demonstrable skills Commitment to professional development and self learning

Training:
Training will take place at Basingstoke College of Technology and the remaining on the employer site

Training Outcome:
HNC Engineering

Working Hours :
Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4.00pm, Friday 7.30am to 3.00pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break. 39 hours per week.
