Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship - Forest Lodge Academy

Support the learning and development of children in the Early Years setting, following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum Assist in planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote curiosity, creativity, and independence Contribute to creating a safe, caring, and stimulating environment where all children feel valued and included Work closely with teachers and early years staff to support both individual children and small groups, including those with SEND Help with the observation, assessment, and recording of children’s progress, contributing to their individual learning journeys Promote positive behaviour and model high expectations of conduct and respect Ensure safeguarding, health, and safety procedures are consistently followed Assist with daily routines such as snack times, lunchtimes, and personal care when required Build positive relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues to support children’s well-being and development Actively participate in training, mentoring, and reflective practice to support your professional growth and completion of the apprenticeship programme

Training:
As an apprentice you will be in a role where you will learn valuable experiences through on-the-job training You will be provided with hands on experiences needed to gain the qualification A mentor will be assigned and you will work alongside an experienced team of colleagues who will supervise and guide you throughout your apprenticeship
