Apprentice Gas Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities:

To support the Aspire Housing Gas Engineer operatives with a positive approach to all types of gas related work to gain the required practical skills, and knowledge to become a qualified Gas Engineer To learn about working in the gas industry through hands-on experience, mentoring, and formal vocational training To complete a City and Guilds level 3 qualification in Gas Engineering and all competence-based assessments and modules throughout the apprenticeship program To demonstrate an excellent attitude with a positive mindset to support the business To support qualified Gas Engineers with tasks related to gas installation, service and maintenance To have clear communication skills and a positive approach throughout the program

Training:

Gas Engineering Operative Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard:

Training will take place one day per week at Stoke-on-Trent College's Burslem Campus (ST6 1JJ) You will be supported by a subject specialst Skills Coach who will visit you in the workplace a set points throughout your apprenticeship
