Bricklaying Apprentice

Interpreting technical drawings and building plans. Understanding measurements and layout requirements for construction. Mixing mortar manually or using a cement mixer. Laying bricks, blocks, or stone in the correct position. Ensuring rows are level, plumb, and properly aligned using a spirit level or laser.

Training:

The training will take place on-site with the employers, and you will spend 4 days a month training at the college with the Training Provider. You'll be working towards a Level 2 Bricklayer apprenticeship, including any necessary Functional Skills.



Training Outcome:
Become a self-employed sub-contractor. Become a full-time employee. Start your own business.
