Building or Carpentry Apprentice wanted

Your college course can be for building or carpentry. You can be in your first or second year but you must be attedning college.
For an immediate start: Our carpentry apprentices have just completed their Level 3 - NWK College and/or Level 2 - Bromley College - and have now gone on to new roles. We are therefore looking to replace them.
You will learn a diverse range of skills from a qualified Master Carpenter and Builder with 38 years experience. You will learn to complete: plumbing, brickwork, fit flat roof windows and sliding doors. Carpentry: fit kitchens, bathrooms, extensions, staircases, build garden rooms, roofs, loft conversions and full refurbishments, so you therefore must be prepared to do everything required of you.
You must be polite, honest, hard working, competent, punctual and reliable.
Non smokers and non vaping - not negoitable.
You must be able to speak, understand, read and write English.
You must be able to get to site or a station where you can be collected.
Tools are not required although most carpentry apprentices should have their own basic tool kit. So if you do not have one you must look to get one.
You will need steel toe cap boots, work trousers and a fully waterproof jacket.
Training:
At college, you will be enrolled to complete a building or carpentry course, e.g. Carpentry Level 2. You must have GCSEs in math and English at grade 3 or above. or Functional Skills if required. You must be able to follow instructions. All training is hands-on, on-site training. You must have taken the health & safety course.
Training Outcome:
To progress to level 3 carpentry and become a fully qualified carpenter.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday 08:00-16:00 You may be expected to work longer hours if a job has to be completed. This can result in no notice and is not up for debate, as the site must be left safe.
