IT Technician Apprentice

Learn from IT colleagues and apprenticeship training provider, completing all required coursework. Deliver friendly, efficient first-line IT support to staff, students, and visitors in person and remotely, logging all tasks in the Helpdesk system. Set up, maintain, and repair IT equipment; escalate issues when needed. Monitor and manage IT consumables, audiovisual systems, and support school events. Assist with system compliance, IT policies, GDPR, and health & safety requirements. Support the Network Administrator with device management, backups, group policy, and workload cover. Diagnose and repair hardware/software faults; support applications, mail systems, AV, telephony, and peripherals. Assist with credential management, software installations/updates, antivirus, wireless setup, and access points. Provide support for cashless catering solutions and asset management. Help monitor filtering, networking, broadband, and servers where possible. Support remote access for users and suggest improvements to IT provision. Create and maintain IT documentation and deliver staff training when appropriate.

Training:
15 - 18 Months. Start as soon as possible. Apprenticeship level: Advanced - Level 3 (A level). Information and Communications Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard. CompTIA A+. AZ - 900. Remote Learning.

Training Outcome:

Fixed term contract: 15 months.

Working Hours :
Monday to Thursday 8am to 4pm. Friday 8am to 3:30pm.
