ICT Technician Apprentice

Daily duties include;

Be the first point of contact for IT problems and queries from office and remote colleagues, via phone, in person, and email. Set up and configure desktop and laptop computers, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues. Assist with system updates, patches, and routine maintenance tasks. Support audiovisual equipment in meeting rooms. Log and track problems, undertaking root cause analysis where appropriate, to provide permanent solutions to recurring problems. Ensure that all problems are dealt with in a timely and professional manner, so that colleague’s expectations are met.  Create and update documentation. Escalate issues to the IT manager as needed.

Training:

All training will be delivered from the workplace.

The development of these systems has evolved very substantially over the past fifty years to meet the demands of modern architecture and building standards, Dane have proactively embraced this evolutionary process, growing our business capacity and knowledge base to successfully deliver numerous prestigious high value projects.

Working Hours :
37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday (30-minute unpaid lunch break each day). Monday – Thursday – 8:45am – 5pm, Friday 8:45am – 3.45pm.
