L2 apprenticeship in childcare

Your main roles and responsibilities would be to ensure the safety and care of all the children under your care, following the nursery policies and using best practice routines. To work as part of a team to provide an enabling environment in which all individual children can play, develop, and learn As a member of a team, you must ensure the children’s care is the priority and raise any concerns with the safeguarding lead As a keyworker, you will ensure your individual child’s needs are met Carry out observation Carry out health care routines Prepare snacks Do yearly reports Be a positive role model.

 

Training:

Training will be done online, staff will be required to do college work in own time as well as training at the nursery.

Training Outcome:

For apprentice to stay with the business and progress.

Our unique approach to childcare incorporates the Reggio Emilia philosophy where we use loose parts to give the children the ability to learn through play. Cheeky chimps’ childcare was established in 2012 and currently operates 1, 64 place, nursery in Swindon.

Working Hours :
Monday-Friday 8-430 x40 hours a week, or x4 days a week 7:30-6pm. Or Monday,thursday and friday 7:30-6pm.
