Apprentice site carpenter
The apprentice will work alongside an experienced builder on a variety of projects and through this will increase their skill and understanding.
Typical duties would include preparing and installing basic building components e.g. doors, straight staircases, wall and floor units and erecting structural carpentry and roof structures on a building site or in domestic and commercial premises.
Training:
Carpentry and Joinery Level 2.
1-week block placements over a period of 2 years (totalling 20 weeks).
Building Craft College, Gibbins Road, Stratford, London, E15 1AH.
Training Outcome:
Progression to the level 3 qualification.
Employer Description:
Horsley Construction Limited is a building company that has been operating for 9 years. The primary focus for future work will be within loft conversions and extensions.
Working Hours :
Monday - Friday 8hr/day with half hour unpaid break (usually 8:30am - 5pm)
