Property Maintenance Operative Apprentice
Carrying out day-to-day maintenance tasks across the site, including basic plumbing, electrical work, decorating, and general repairs.
Completing regular safety, compliance, and equipment checks, keeping accurate records, and supporting audits.
Working with contractors, colleagues, and the apprenticeship programme to develop skills and ensure maintenance tasks are completed to a high standard.
Training:
Attendance to Stephenson Campus (Coalville) block release.
Apprenticeship session to assist with portfolio building and preparation for End Point Assessment.
Diarised visits from dedicated Trainer/Assessor.
Attendance to Stephenson Campus for Functional Skills (if required).
On-the-job training.
Off-the-job training.
Training Outcome:
This apprenticeship is designed to lead into a Maintenance Person role within the team, providing long-term career opportunities in building and facilities maintenance.

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 4.30pm (flexibility may be required depending on the needs of the service i.e. working different hours, including some weekends or public holidays).
