Apprentice Learning Support Assistant

We are looking for someone who:

Has a keen interest in children’s education Is willing to work towards Level 3 in a relevant childcare qualification
preferably will have a Grade C/4 or above in English and Mathematics Has an awareness of safeguarding children

Training:

Training will be at Doncaster College where you will access a wide range of facilities on offer. 

Day release.  

You will undertake L3 Teaching Assistant standard.

You will undertake Functional Skills for English and/or Maths if needed.   

You will undertake both on and off-the-job training by a team of industry qualified professionals to give you the best skills, knowledge and experience that will help you become a teaching assistant of the future! 

Training Outcome:

Successful completion of the apprenticeship could lead to a higher-level apprenticeship or full-time employment for the right candidate. You will be able to work in a Primary school as a teaching assistant. You may choose to study to be Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) in the future.
