CNC Miller Location: Andover Salary: £15 – £20 per hour (DOE) Overview Holt Engineering are working with a leading precision engineering company in Andover who are looking to add skilled CNC Millers to their growing team. Supplying high‑quality components to a variety of industries, the business has recently secured a major automotive contract and is expanding its machining team. Responsibilities - Set and operate CNC machining centres (Mazak, Heidenhain, Fanuc). - Edit CNC programs as required to achieve precision specifications. - Manufacture high‑quality components to tight tolerances. - Carry out quality checks to ensure parts meet required standards. - Maintain production targets and deadlines. - Collaborate with colleagues to meet output goals. - Conduct basic maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machines. Requirements - Previous CNC machining experience (Mazak, Heidenhain, or Fanuc preferred). - Confident with offsets and tooling changes. - Strong knowledge of machining principles, methods, and materials. - Ability to read and understand engineering drawings. - High attention to detail and problem‑solving skills. - Flexibility to work overtime when required.
