Mechanical Engineer – FM Service Provider – Southampton area – Temporary - £25 per hour – Immediate Start (On site parking)

CBW is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to carry out maintenance in a commercial building located in the Southampton area. The successful candidate must be mechanically qualified with a strong track record in commercial building maintenance.

Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesFire alarm and sprinkler testingAHUs/FCUs – filter changes, belt changes, actuator changes, coil cleaningPumps – PPMs and strip downs (e.g. replacing seals, bearings, valves, overhauls)Motors – PPMs (e.g. re-winds, overhauls)Water treatment – dipslides, pH & temperature testingWater pressurisation unitsCalorifiers – annual inspection, descalingCooling towersBoilers – resetsChillers – resets and first-line faultsBasic plumbing – e.g. unblocking toiletsHours of WorkMonday to Friday08:00 – 17:00£25 per hourRequirements
