Early Years Apprentice
Promote, in full liasion with other staff, the wellbeing of all children
Contribute to safeguarding all children, with supervision and support from the staff team
Act as a positive role-model for children at all times, and, as an adult, act in a caring and responsible manner
Help to plan and deliver activities to children aged 2 - 11 years old to promote their learning and development, both indoors and outdoors
Help to set up activities so that they are appealing and stimulating, and tidy them away
Supervise children during snack and lunch times
Positively promote the development of children's communication and language skills
Ensure that the reputation and 'good name' of the Pre-school is maintained and promoted
Comply with the Pre-school's policies and procedures
Training:
Early Years Educator (Level 3) qualification delivered via Lancaster and Morecambe College tutors, within the workplace.
The role will be at Bolton-Le-Sands Pre-school, Off Packet Lane, Bolton-Le-Sands Carnforth Lancashire LA5 8DW.
Training Outcome:
For the right candidate, this position may, in time, lead to full-time employment

Working Hours :
30 hours per week spread across four weekdays.
