Assistant Accountant Apprentice
Learning all aspects of the role of an accountant.
Bookkeeping
Using accounting software like Xero & QuickBooks
Developing to produce personal tax returns, and in time basic sets of accounts
Processing payroll for a small number of clients
Supporting the rest of the team with contacting clients, filing tax returns online
Potentially maintain our social media presence
Helping support the team with regards AML checks on clients
Training:
Your programme will be delivered online, with the following structure:
Every two weeks, you will attend a 3-hour live online classroom session. During these sessions, new topics will be taught by your tutor. You’ll also be expected to complete an additional 3 hours of coursework related to the session. Between sessions, you’ll complete self-study tasks using the BPP and Kaplan platforms, spread throughout the week.
Required learning resources, such as textbooks, will be delivered to your home or workplace address, depending on your preference.
Training Outcome:
This is a long-term role. We want to recruit people who will become permanent members of the team and support you in further studies.
Employer Description:
Long established accountancy practice. 14 members of staff. 1,000+ clients based across a range of industries and locations.
Working Hours :
Monday to Friday between 9am to 5pm.
