An 18th-century hotel in the heart of Hertford, this flagship site is part of a collection of around 90 managed pubs, some with rooms. Recently refurbished, it features 35 bedrooms and a relaxed dining area serving up to 100 covers at full capacity.

We are looking for a Head Chef to lead the kitchen and continue the strong reputation for quality, seasonal food.

What you will be doing

Leading a small, close-knit team of around nine chefs, including one or two Sous ChefsCreating fresh, seasonal menus that change four times a yearManaging daily operations and maintaining high kitchen standardsWorking closely with the support team based nearbyDriving consistency and creativity across all dishes
