About the Role/School

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated EYFS Class Teacher to join a vibrant school community in Maida Vale. This role offers full classroom responsibility for a Nursery Class during morning sessions, with afternoon duties covering lessons in Reception. Our school prides itself on providing a nurturing, creative, and inspiring environment for both staff and pupils, ensuring the highest standards in early years education.

Job Responsibilities

As an EYFS Class Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

Leading and managing a Nursery Class during morning sessions.

Planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons for Nursery pupils.

Covering Reception lessons during the afternoons to support colleagues and ensure continuity of learning.

Promoting positive behaviour and a safe learning environment.

Collaborating with staff, parents, and leadership to support pupils’ development.

Participating in school events and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications/Experience

To succeed as an EYFS Class Teacher, you will need:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Experience teaching in early years settings.

Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service.

Right to work in the UK.
