Teaching Assistant Apprentice

Supporting the class teacher in providing a nurturing learning environment for the children Supporting small group interventions Preparing the classroom and resources ready for lessons Helping children who need extra support to complete tasks Helping teachers to plan learning activities and complete records Supporting teachers in managing class behaviour

Training:
Training will take place once a week at Strode College

Training Outcome:
This is a fixed term contract for the duration of the apprenticeship but may lead to a permanent role upon successful completion.

As a Teaching Assistant Apprentice at Willowdown Primary School, you will play a key role in contributing to the delivery of Futura’s mission statement of “Building the brightest future for all, enabling every individual to flourish”. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about living our values and making a positive impact on all the young people in our Trust. At Willowdown Primary School we live and work together as a community to create Happy Children, Successful Learners and Confident Individuals.

Working Hours :
Monday – Friday 0830 – 1530, which includes 1 day at college. Term Time only plus 1 week.
