Children's Social Worker

We are looking for a Senior Social Worker for a Child Protection and Children In Ned Team

This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience.

About the Team

The Child Protection and Children in Need Social Work Team supports children and families where there are concerns about safety, wellbeing, or development. The team works with families to assess risks, develop care plans, and provide targeted interventions that promote stability and positive change. They coordinate multi-agency support to ensure children are safeguarded and their needs are met within their family wherever possible. Through ongoing support, monitoring, and partnership working, the team helps children achieve safety, resilience, and improved life outcomes.

About you

A degree within social work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of 3 years’ post qualified experience is essential in order to be considered for this role. A valid UK driving license and vehicle is not essential to the success of this role but will help.
