 Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 (dependent on experience)

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Team Leader to join our growing engineering team in Brighouse. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on quality professional to take ownership of inspection activities and ensure our high standards of precision and reliability are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop the Quality Control team, ensuring efficient inspection processes and continuous improvement.Oversee the inspection of components and assemblies using a range of precision measuring equipment.Operate and program CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines) and other metrology tools to verify dimensional accuracy.Liaise with production, design, and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.Maintain accurate inspection records and support internal and external audits.Drive quality improvements and support corrective and preventative action initiatives.

Skills & Experience

Proven experience in a Quality Control / Quality Inspection leadership role within an engineering or manufacturing environment.Strong experience in using CMM and a variety of precision measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, gauges, etc.).A background in valves, fluid control systems, or similar precision-engineered components would be highly advantageous.Excellent attention to detail and understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances.Strong communication and team management skills.
