Despatch Assistant

Holt Engineering are working with a innovative electronics manufacturer in Fareham. Who are looking for a Despatch Assistant to join the busy team and help ensure smooth operations in both delivery and despatch. Key Responsibilities For the Despatch Assistant: - Safely and efficiently deliver goods to customers and suppliers - Occasionally collect parcels from customers  - Load and unload vans, ensuring products are securely packed and undamaged - Assist in the despatch area with order preparation and packing - Perform vehicle checks and maintain cleanliness of the van - Accurately complete delivery paperwork and report any issues - Support general warehouse duties when needed To be a successful Despatch Assistant: - Full UK driving licence with a clean record - Previous experience as a van driver or in a despatch/warehouse environment is preferred - Good time management and the ability to work independently - A strong work ethic and attention to detail - Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving heavy items - Friendly and professional approach when dealing with customers Working Monday to Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm with an early finish on Fridays at 12:30pm.  Paying between £12.21-£12.75 Per hour (Depending on Experience) The Despatch Assistant role is offering a temporary to permanent contract, if you feel like a perfect fit for the role Apply Now! or Call Sam on 07485 390946.
