Recruit4Staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading engineering company in their search for x8 Mechanical Fitters to work in their leading facility in Telford.

For the successful Mechanical Fitter our client is offering:

Starting salary up to £35,000 per annum (£16.82 per hour) - Depending on experienceDays position 7:45am-5pm Monday to Thursday with a 12:45pm finish on Fridays

The Role - Mechanical Fitter:

Assembling a variety of Robotic/Automated equipment from start to finishWorking from engineering drawingsUse of hand/power tools to assemble productsWorking within a team to build equipmentFitting & Installation of equipment at customer premises, including worldwide travel when requiredUse of machinery within the workshopThis position could involve travelling up to 2/3 times a year (Usually 2 weeks at a time)Providing guidance to Junior members of the team

What our client is looking for in a Mechanical Fitter;

Able to demonstrate Mechanical Fitting experience - ESSENTIALC&G qualification in Engineering or apprentice trained - DesirableAbility to work away from home as there will be Worldwide travel involved, however this is minimal at the momentFull UK Licence & Passport - ESSENTIALAbility to read from drawingsSomeone mechanically minded, good with hand and power tools
