Early Years Educator Apprenticeship

You would work as part of a highly dedicated team in providing a stimulating, fun and safe environment for all children. We provide a high standard of care, learning and play in line with the EYFS. The position will include learning about Key Person responsibilities; planning, observation and assessment using Tapestry (online development journal).

Based within both the baby room and the pre-school, this will give you a great start to your early years career. Helping you to gain a wealth of knowledge, skills and experience.

Training:

Study Early Years Educator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard
Attendance at SS&L College - every 2 weeks 
Opportunity to upskill maths and English via Functional Skills if required

Training Outcome:

There may be an opportunity to continue learning pathways with a Level 5 qualification in Early Years after some time spent in the job role.

Abacus is a privately owned children's nursery, fully staffed and equipped to satisfy the emotional, social, intellectual and physical needs of your child. The management team has a vast amount of early years experience and are all highly qualified. Abacus has grown to be a busy nursery over the past few years employing up to 15 members of staff. All of the Abacus team have a genuine love for working in Early Years.

Working Hours :
Tuesday - Thursday, 8.00am - 6.00pm and Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm
