Level 3 Dental Nurse Apprentice

Holly Tree House Dental Practice is looking for a friendly and motivated Apprentice Dental Nurse to join our welcoming and supportive team. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional, patient-centred care in a modern and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting dentists during clinical procedures, including general, cosmetic, and implant treatments Ensuring patients feel comfortable, cared for, and at ease throughout their visit Maintaining excellent standards of infection control, sterilisation, and cleanliness Preparing instruments, materials, and equipment for dental procedures Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the practice Learning chairside techniques, radiography, and patient care skills as part of the Level 3 Dental Nurse Apprenticeship Keeping all areas of the practice clean, safe, and welcoming Securing the premises when required Assisting on reception, including booking appointments and managing enquiries Providing general administrative support and helping colleagues when needed Completing all off-the-job training, assignments, and progress reviews required for the apprenticeship

Training:

This apprenticeship is work based learning therefore most of the time you will be working at the employer’s address

You will only need to attend college in Nottingham City Centre for initial assessments, enrolment and one day every 2 weeks for training:

Level 3 Dental Nurse Standard: Dental nurse (GDC 2023) / Skills England  Functional Skills if required Please note that the apprenticeship standards require the apprentice to sit an End Point Assessment

Training Outcome:
Potential opportunity for a permanent role within the company following successful completion of the apprenticeship if there is capacity

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 5.30pm. Exact Shifts TBC.
