Tops Day Nurseries Princerock - Level 2 Childcare Apprenticeship

Assist in providing a safe environment for children. Assisting with daily, weekly and monthly checks around the nursery. Assist in ensuring the unit is clean and tidy and assist in meal preparation. Assist colleagues with developing and maintaining good relationships. Taking children on trips out and assisting with picking up from school. Able to support children’s behaviour and act as a role model. Support in ensuring the environment is stimulating and appropriate including layout.

Training:
Early Years Practitioner Level 2 Childcare apprenticeship standard. Level 2 Functional Skills Maths, if required. Level 2 Functional Skills English, if required.

Training Outcome:
Potential to gain permanent employment at the setting. Potential to progress onto a Level 3 Early Years Educator Childcare Apprenticeship.

Working Hours :
The apprentice will be working 30 hours per week Monday to Friday between the settings opening hours of 06:00 - 20:00. Shifts to be discussed.
