Supply Chain Apprentice
To plan transport on a daily basis, booking in with customer where required.
To book transport vehicles in the most cost-effective way whilst ensuring all deliveries hit all targets and timings agreed with the business and customers.
To successfully communicate with all departments to ensure all information is clearly provided and all parties are aware of any challenges or issues.
Required to maintain the highest level of quality and service with the ability to use their own initiative.
Daily checks of the warehouse to affectively save space and move stock out in a timely manner after production.
Create and send stock reports out to help with movement of stock from the warehouse.
Training:
Working towards Supply Chain Practitioner Level 3 apprenticeship standard. Training will take place at employer's site.
Training Outcome:
Full-time role and career progression for candidate.
