Shift Electrician

If so, we want to hear from you. We are working in partnership with a leading UK manufacturer that operates at the cutting edge of heavy industrial engineering. As a Shift Electrician, you’ll be a key player in maintaining and improving a wide variety of electrical systems across a dynamic production site. What You’ll Be Doing: - Provide electrical maintenance support across a variety of machinery, including forging presses, furnaces, CNC and manual lathes, millers and borers. - Carry out both preventive and reactive maintenance to ensure high machine uptime. - Respond to breakdowns efficiently to reduce production downtime. - Take part in improvement and installation projects, including upgrades to electrical services. - Mentor apprentices and contribute to the future of skilled trades.  What You’ll Bring: - Apprenticeship-trained or City & Guilds qualified in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent). - Strong understanding of electrical principles and fault finding. - Industrial background – ideally from manufacturing, engineering, or heavy industry. - Experience working with high-power machinery and site services. - A proactive, safety-first mindset and a flexible, team-focused attitude.  What’s On Offer: - The chance to work with a respected name in UK engineering. - Supportive team culture where your skills and input are valued. - Long-term stability and room for development. - Competitive salary and shift premiums.  For more information or to apply, contact Ian at Holt Engineering on 07734406996 or email ian.broadhurst@holtengineering.co.uk.
