Level 3 Metal Fabrication Apprentice

As an Apprentice Metal Fabricator, you will work closely with experienced fabricators and engineers to gain hands-on experience in all aspects of metal and acrylic fabrication.

This includes: 

Assisting in the cutting, folding, welding, and assembly of aluminium and stainless-steel components  Helping to form 3D letters and fabricate sign trays using sheet metal and acrylic materials  Learning to use a variety of tools and machinery, including guillotines, folders, brake presses, welders, and CNC routers  Preparing materials through measuring, marking, and finishing to high tolerances  Participating in quality control checks to ensure final products meet company standards  Supporting the workshop team in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient working environment  Receiving structured on-the-job training and mentorship 

Training:

4 days per week at EPOS Solutions Limited

1 day per week at Newcastle College 

Training Outcome:

Full time position for the right candidate upon successful completion of apprenticeship.

Working Hours :
Monday – Thursday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM Friday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM Total: 37.5 hours per week
