Civil Engineering Apprenticeship - Level 3 Civil Engineering Technician
Assist with surveys, inspections and investigations for highway improvement and or maintenance schemes and other engineering projects as directed
Assist with the varied day-to-day activities and general administrative duties of the section within the Engineering Design and Highway Management groups
Assist with the preparation of reports, studies and estimates
Training:
Joining the two year programme on an advanced apprenticeship, you’ll have a structured training programme in either our Engineering Design or Highways and Traffic Management group whilst working towards gaining the level 3 apprenticeship for Civil Engineering Technicians at a local college.
Alongside completing your apprenticeship qualification, you’ll also have the opportunity to work in one or more of the following areas:-
Training Outcome:
There are no guarantees of employment at the end of the programme, but we would expect the apprentice to apply for further employment, ideally within the council or within the wider Devon economy.

Working Hours :
As a guide you will be working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
