Early Years Educator Apprentice

To help young children in Orchard School & Nursery (OSN) achieve the five Every Child Matters outcomes of staying safe, being healthy, enjoying and achieving, making a positive contribution and achieving economic well-being. To implement the EYFS Framework by following the policies, processes and procedures of OSN.  To communicate, co-operate and co-ordinate with School and Nursery personnel, parents and appropriate outside agencies whilst operating within strict boundaries of confidentiality

Training:
Support to achieve knowledge, skills and behaviours as laid out in the apprenticeship standard Support from an experienced assessor to assess work and practice Individual learning programme tailored to own needs E-learning, training and monthly tutorials specific to your apprenticeship Mentor and support in the workplace A minimum of 6 hours per week during paid time to be used for learning and development opportunities English and maths Functional Skills at Level 2 (if required) Support to achieve End Point Assessment At the end of the apprenticeship, you will obtain the Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship

Training Outcome:

A Level 3 apprenticeship as an Early Years Educator. A career in a well established Nursery and School that has been running successfully for over 30 years. Staff at the nursery have progressed onto further training, some completing Level 5 and moving to Teaching Degrees.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday – 8 a.m. – 5.45 p.m. For example, Monday to Friday an early or late shift within these hours
