Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship
Support children aged between 4-7years including those with SEND or EAL, overseen by class teacher
Support in Reading, Writing and Maths, hearing children read, supporting across other areas and PE
Helping with transitions such as home time, playtime etc.
Provide help with personal care e.g. nappy changing if required
Support play activities outside at lunchtime
Training:
The majority of the training will take place within the workplace; however, there is a mandatory college attendance day of 1 day per month, where the learner will complete work set by an assessor and have the opportunity to network with other learners on the same course.
Training Outcome:
This could lead to a permanent TA role in school in the future.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday 8.30am - 3.30pm with 30minutes lunchbreak (term-time only)
