Warehouse Apprentice

Taking deliveries of goods or raw materials Checking for damage or missing items Loading and unloading deliveries from trucks and moving stock using lifting equipment (such as fork trucks or pallet trucks) – once relevant tickets have been obtained Placing goods into the correct storage locations Packing and wrapping goods ready for dispatch Picking orders from various locations within the warehouse Stock management including re-ordering and stock taking Processing returned goods

What You’ll Need:

Willingness to complete funded machinery operation tickets such as Forklift with counterbalance

Someone with the ability to take instruction and follow guidance A proactive, enthusiastic individual who uses their initiative Logical and methodical in problem-solving Organised and able to prioritise workload Adaptable, with good interpersonal and communication skills Physically fit and comfortable with manual tasks Interest in logistics, warehousing, and the supply chain

Training:
Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Apprenticeship Standard (Level 2) Work based training at Industrial Estate, Pensilva, Liskeard PL14 5RE

Training Outcome:
Potential to work within a warehousing role
